(Part- 2)
(Part- 3)
I’ve attempted to discuss the basic topics related to batik and boutique work here.
You will take responsibility for the described practical tasks. Let me know if you need updates on lentil soup, mutton curry, and pilaf at home.
[sb] Waxing Method Method – Take water in a vessel and add hiro powder into it. Then, heat water mixed with soap, dip the cloth in it, and stir with a stick. Now, dip the cloth once in a mixture of powder and again in warm water mixed with soap. If you do this several times, wax will accumulate. Finally, wash the cloth thoroughly with soap, rinse, and dry in the shade.
[sb] Sulfur Block Color 1% (1 tola/1 yard) Sodium 1% (1 tola/1 yard) Water 98% (as required) [sb] Procedure – Take a steel or clay plate, add water and light it. When the water boils, add color 1% and sodium 1%, stir for some time, then dip the cloth in it and simmer for 20 minutes. When the time is up, take it out, wash it in cold water, and dry it in the shade.
Anchal + Par = 1 tola color + 1 tola sodium.
[sb] Fountain Print Prussian pink, yellow, turquoise, violet 1 teaspoon food soda 1 teaspoon washing soda 1 teaspoon resin salt 1 teaspoon salt Half teaspoon cyan color [sb] Procedure – Mix all the ingredients in water. Now tie the cloth with thread where the print will be. Now soak the cloth in the mixed color. Apply color with a brush for a while, then open the tie and dry in direct sunlight for at least 7 days. After 7 days, wash it in cold water.
